Bad news for the middle class Xperia smartphone users
because Sony has announced that the smartphone outside of Xperia Z series will
not receive update of Android 5.0
Lollipop. Japanese vendors are only offering the Android 5.0 Lollipop update
for the smartphone Z series, including the Xperia Z which was released in early
2013.
Sony announced the bad news via his official Twitter
account. This means Xperia smartphone users in 2014 the middle class should be
ready to bite the finger and sticking with Android 4.4 KitKat. users of Xperia
E3, M2 Aqua Xperia, Xperia M2, C3 Xperia, Xperia T3, T2 Xperia Ultra, or Xperia
E1 smartphone will not taste the sweetness of Lollipop in device.
Many users who wish Sony changed his mind and provide an
update to the Android Lollipop for middle class device. So far a lot of
middle-class Sony smartphone technically capable of running Android 5.0
Lollipop. However, insufficient technical specifications will be in vain if
Sony decided not to support it.
Sony itself this year has introduced three new Xperia
smartphones outside the Z series that uses the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, one of which is the Xperia M4 Aqua. While the Xperia E4 and E4g will get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update
shortly after it was released to the market.
what is done by Sony is different from the last few years
which gives an update of Android for middle class smartphones . It seems Sony
wants to save energy at the expense of support for an update on the ranks of
middle-class smartphone.
