Acquisition of WhatsApp become one of the largest
acquisitions made by Facebook. At the time of the beginning of the acquisition
process, the two sides also revealed that Facebook and WhatsApp application
will run independently. But the statement did not seem to effect long.
According to a report written by Geektime, Facebook is
currently trying to make the process of integration of WhatsApp to his Facebook
application. As an initial step, the integration process is carried out on
Facebook Android app. Even Geektime also mentioned that Facebook Android
version 31.0.0.7.13 not yet officially launched is the embodiment of the
integration of WhatsApp to Facebook.
In the version of
Facebook Android, Facebook users will be able to update the status
directly using WhatsApp application. Even this application will be equipped
with a special button that allows Facebook users to do so. And do not rule out
the possibility that further integration will be deeper.
