Xiaomi MI4smartphones reportedly carrying malware and adware are installed in it. This
information is sourced from Bluebox, a company engaged in the field of mobile
security is based in San Francisco, United States. Malware and adware Xiaomi
MI4 is presumably have pre-installed.
Bluebox say that Xiaomi MI4 smartphones that imported from
China, there are three applications that can be categorized as malware and
adware, they are Yt Service, PhoneGuardService, and AppStats. Yt Service is
known an adware that can display annoying ads on the device.
While PhoneGuardService is a malware that makes MI4 Xiaomi
smartphones it easier attacked by intruders and steal data users. AppStats
itself also categorized as malware that can attract other malware entering the
smartphone
Bluebox also added that Xiaomi MI4 has 7 Android security
hole that has been known previously. How security holes and malware can enter
the Xiaomi MI4 smartphone? Bluebox accused MIUI who do not obtain certification
from Google and facilitate rogue application into the device. Until now there
was no official response from Xiaomi MI4 about related issues .
Xiaomi MI4 smartphone is a flagship smartphone is equipped
with a 5-inch touch screen full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, which uses
IPS (In-Plane Switching) made JDI with the screen density reaches more than 441
pixels per inch. Xiaomi MI4 using MIUI 6 developed on the basis of the Android
4.4 KitKat operating system .
Performance offered by Xiaomi MI4 can be regarded equivalent
to Mi Note newly introduced by relying on chipset Qualcomm's Snapdragon 801 that carries Krait 400 quad-core
processor with a speed of 2.5 GHz
combined with 3GB of RAM memory and powered by Adreno 330 graphics
processor .
