Microsoft and Yahoo are the two competitors who kept trying
to beat Google in the search engine business. Both of them were even in 2010
and formed a partnership with the aim to improve its search engine business
respectively. And after running for five years, the cooperation between
Microsoft and Yahoo are likely to disperse in this year.
Cooperation was set to be expected would be able to survive
for 10 years. But it seems both parties will feel five years is enough.
Moreover, both Microsoft and Yahoo did not obtain significant changes with to
the cooperation.
Negotiations between the Microsoft with Yahoo related to the
cooperation itself is actually still can continue. Decisions related to the
continuation of cooperation is actually disclosed 30 days after February 23.
But they still have not reached an agreement and eventually extended to 60
days.
Very small possibility that cooperation is not too fruitful
for both parties to continue. Moreover, each company has been led by different
people, Marissa Mayer as CEO of Yahoo and Satya Nadella become Microsoft's
leaders.
